This policy explains how Battle Living (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information collected through battleliving.com. It covers the website only. It does not describe the separate records practices that apply to people who are accepted into our housing programs, which are explained directly to residents.
Information we collect
When you submit the inquiry form on this site, you choose to give us:
- Your full name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Your role — for example whether you are a prospective resident, a family member, or a caseworker or treatment provider
- A preferred move-in or referral date, if you provide one
- Anything you choose to write in the message field
Please send only what is necessary to start a conversation. Do not include clinical records, diagnoses, medication lists, or other sensitive health details in the website form. Those conversations should happen by phone or through your treatment provider.
How we use it
We use what you send to respond to your inquiry, discuss availability and bed placement, coordinate with a referring provider when you have asked us to, and keep a record of the conversation. We do not use website inquiries for advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
How it is handled
Form submissions are delivered to us by email through a third-party form-processing service, which transmits the message and stores a copy of it on our behalf. The site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security of information sent over the internet.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and move through this site — for example how many people viewed a page or tapped the phone number. This uses cookies and similar technology and records a truncated version of your IP address. It is not used to identify you personally, and it is not linked to anything you submit through the form. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on, or by using your browser’s Do Not Track or cookie controls.
Sharing
We share information only with the service providers that operate this site and its form delivery, when you have asked us to coordinate with a referring provider or family member, or when we are required to by law. We do not publish resident names, photographs, or addresses.
Retention
We keep inquiry messages only as long as we need them to respond and to maintain a reasonable record of the conversation. You can ask us to delete an inquiry at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you from a website inquiry, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call us on 423-903-7160, or send the request through the inquiry form. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through this website.
Not a medical or clinical provider
Battle Living provides transitional recovery housing. We are not a medical, clinical, or licensed treatment facility, and nothing on this site is medical advice.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
